Tianjin First Central Hospital, China
Tianjin First Central Hospital is located in the Chinese metropolis of Tianjin. In addition to other medical services and teaching, it is a major center for liver transplants. It was founded in 1949 and refurbished in 2018, including an Evac vacuum system, for the outpatient and emergency
departments with a traffic of 6000-7000 patients a day. Renovation and installation of new vacuum toilets for the public restrooms of outpatient areas allowed greater odor reduction, solved ventilation and gravity drainage issues, and increased hygiene.
